Mwingi POS Back Office : Clusters

Overview

The Clusters module manages records of clusters used across the platform to organize and associate various entities. Clusters play a vital role in several core functions, including:

  • Categorizing customer groups
  • Grouping employees
  • Associating records in delivery notes, purchase orders, and goods return notes
  • Organizing stores

This module is accessible via the Clusters menu in the Mwingi POS Back Office.


Clusters Table View

The system presents a detailed table listing all existing clusters along with the stores associated with each one. This view provides a clear and organized overview for efficient cluster management.


Creating a New Cluster

To create a new cluster:

  1. Click or tap the Create New button above the table view.
  2. The New Cluster Form will open.

Complete the following fields:

  • Cluster Name – Enter the name of the cluster
  • Stores – Select one or more stores from the checkbox list

Click Create to save the new cluster once all required fields are completed.


Editing or Deleting a Cluster

To edit or remove an existing cluster:

  1. Click or tap the specific cluster in the table view.
  2. The Edit Cluster Form will open.

In this view, you can:

  • Update the cluster name
  • Modify the assigned stores using the checkbox list
  • Click the Delete link at the top of the form to permanently remove the cluster

After making changes, click Save to apply updates.
