The Shrinkage Receipts module in the Mwingi Portal/Dashboard offers authorized users a transparent and centralized record of all shrinkage clearances following spotchecks. When stock discrepancies (shrinkages) are detected via the Mwingi Spotcheck App and corrective actions are taken, a shrinkage receipt is generated to document the adjustment.
This module plays a critical role in ensuring proper documentation, accountability, and visibility into the resolution of stock variances across all stores.
Key Features and Functionality
Shrinkage Receipts Table
The interface presents a tabular view listing all shrinkage receipts generated within a selected date range. Each row includes the following details:

| Store Name | The name of the store where the shrinkage occurred. |
| Correct Status | Indicates whether the receipt has been validated as correct: ✅ Green Check – Correct ❌ Red X – Not Correct |
| Created Date | The date the receipt was created in the system. |
Filters for Data Retrieval
To facilitate efficient access to specific records, users can apply the following filters:
- Date Range Filter: Select a start and end date to display receipts created within a specific timeframe.
- Store Dropdown Filter: Narrow results by selecting a specific store.
These filtering options allow users to locate relevant shrinkage records quickly and easily.
Viewing Shrinkage Receipt Details
For verification or audit purposes, users can access in-depth information about any shrinkage receipt:
- Click or tap on a receipt entry in the table.
- A detailed view will open, showing:
- Receipt Number
- Store Number
- Correct Status
- Created Date
- List of Cleared Items, including:
- Product Name
- Deviation (the quantity difference that was cleared)
This level of detail helps stakeholders assess how each shrinkage was resolved.
